Last week I used the lovely Flowering Fields from Sale-A-Bration, and instantly fell in love with this set. I find colouring with Aqua Painters quite therapeutic. Today I have combined it with stamps and thinlets from a Number of Years

Thanks for visiting today,
Here is a close up of the water colouring, I love how you can add depth of colour by layer more ink as you go, can you see the subtle contrast in Blushing Bride on the main flower?
I used a masking technique so that I didn't over stamp on the flowers, by using the Stamp-a-ma-jig I was able to work out the layout for the design. The sentiment is from Cottage Greetings.

ReplyDeleteStamp-a-ma-jig... Maybe I'm showing you that I'm a newbie when it comes to stamping but I had to watch a video on YouTube to find out what a Stamp-a-ma-jig was. Perfect tool. I learn so much from these challenges and others.
