In Bloom with Flowering Fields

Last week I used the lovely Flowering Fields from Sale-A-Bration, and instantly fell in love with this set. I find colouring with Aqua Painters quite therapeutic.  Today I have combined it with stamps and thinlets from a Number of Years

I gained inspiration from the 3 challenges below!

Here is a close up of the water colouring, I love how you can add depth of colour by layer more ink as you go, can you see the subtle contrast in Blushing Bride on the main flower?

I used a masking technique so that I didn't over stamp on the flowers, by using the Stamp-a-ma-jig I was able to work out the layout for the design.  The sentiment is from Cottage Greetings.

I hope you have enjoyed viewing my card today; the Flowering Fields stamp set is available for a limited time, so don't miss out; below are the products used:

  3. Stamp-a-ma-jig... Maybe I'm showing you that I'm a newbie when it comes to stamping but I had to watch a video on YouTube to find out what a Stamp-a-ma-jig was. Perfect tool. I learn so much from these challenges and others.

Peony Garden All Star Blog Hop

Happy Friday and welcome to the new look All Star Tutorial Team. Today we have more projects featuring the gorgeous Peony Garden Suite. After a few crazy busy weeks at my not so 9 to 5 day job, some colour therapy was needed; I find colouring relaxes me and helps me unwind, how about you? I used light & dark Highland Heather & Old Olive Stampin' Blends, then added Light Pool Party around the edge of the images - all the time using the Color Lifter to help blend the colours to my liking. To finish I added a strip of Basic Black cardstock and some black ink splatters.  Continue through the list below to see more creations from the design team: Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Art Gallery Painted Texture - All Star Tutorial Blog Hop Jan 2021

Hello and welcome to my first post for the year, and also to join me with the new All Star Tutorial Design Team Blog Hop. I've fallen in love with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder, so I've made a card for today featuring this as well as the images and die cuts from the Art Gallery Bundle. The flowers are a 2 stamp process, I've used Petal Pink with Calypso Coral (stamped off once).  I stamped the base image twice and trimmed the flowers off so as to get the Soft Sea Foam leaves. Lastly I added a touch of bling with Champagne Rhinestones.  Be sure to continue through the list below to see more creations from the Flowers for Every Season Suite from the design team: Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Celebrate Sunflowers

I can't believe it's October, another month has gone by, on the plus side we are closed to the end of 2020, and a new All Star Tutorial Bundle is available. This month we are showcasing the Flowers for Every Season suite, I've been using the Celebrate Sunflowers bundle for my creations. I made this card with a recipient in mind, so that's why the non traditional flower colour theme, but to be honest I think it looks great. I purposely left some of the die cut pieces in the flowers to an extra hint of Coastal Cabana contrast to the Bermuda Bay background. I used a Stampin Marker to underline the sentiment, and of course I had to add a little bling, just a hint of Metallic Mesh Ribbon behind the banner and some shimmer paint for the centre of the sunflowers. Hand-Penned Thanks

Hello crafty friends, todays card is for Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop, our  Blog Hop Theme: Thank you This month I will be treating my customers with a thank you card featuring the Hand-Penned Suite.  Below is one of the Thank You cards you may receive when shopping with me this month - May 2021. This is one of my "go to" layouts when using DSP, and dressed up with the gorgeous scalloped edge die it has wow and comes together in a jiffy. After stamping the sentiment (I wish I could write like this) all that is left to do is  adhering scalloped edged card fronts by popping them up on dimensionals, then a touch of bling with rhinestones. So if live in Australia, and would like to receive a Hand Penned Thank You card from Sue Vine - simply place an order with me this month! Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Continue through the list below of fellow demonstrators who are all working on building our businesses and having fun

Sending Smiles with Butterfly Bouquet

One of the fantastic things about being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is that we get early access to catalogue items - just the Butterfly Bouquet Collection!  This means that we can show you our wonderful projects on the day that it released to customers.... TODAY! Isn't it just gorgeous, talk about want it all...... uhh, yes! I reframed from using DSP today and have focused on the beautiful die cuts. The set comes with both outline and detailed dies, so it's entirely up to you as to what you want to use, surprise, I couldn't choose, so stamped a couple of the smaller images to combine with a large diecut. I used blending brushes with Highland Heather and Seaside Spray, with the sentiment (from Many Messages) and butterfly detail stamped with Gray Granite. The background is courtesy of the Painted Texture 3D Embossing folder. Be sure to continue through the blog hop for more inspiration from Butterfly Bouquet.
