Today I'm sharing an adaptation of the emboss resist technique using the Bokeh stamps from the Beauty Abounds Stamp set.
I've always wanted to give the Bokeh technique a try, but I know I would fuss way too much with the positioning of the dots so when I saw these bokeh stamps I thought I would try to create a background. I started by stamping the bokeh images onto Shimmery White Cardstock with VersaMark, when the ink was dry I took a sponge dauber dipped in a little Glycerin (this helps the dauber glide on the cardstock) and sponged Coastal Cabana over the card, and wah-lah,... a bokeh background appeared, I couldn't be happier!
I cut 2 images of the detailed butterfly die, and offset slightly, I worked out the location for the sentiment and stamped, then adhered the die cuts, lastly adding some rhinestones for a touch of bling.I hope you've enjoyed my creation, be sure to work your way through the list below to see all the amazing creations from the All Stars team, don't miss out on any of these blog posts today as I know you are going to get inspiration!
