It's the last Friday of the month, that means it's Ink it! Stamp it! time again. This month we are sharing Kids/Male themed inspiration.
I will be the first to say male themed cards don't come easy, kid's are a little easier, especially when you have a beautiful stamp set like Leave a Little Sparkle (I can't get enough of that unicorn themed set at the moment) - today I've used Seaside Notions to create an "Under the sea" card.
To create the raised front I sponged a mix of Mint Macaron, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay and Pacific Point on a piece of Coastal Cabana, then cut an oval for the peek-a-boo stamped images to be stamped on the Bermuda Bay base. When I was happy with the sponging I embossed with the Swirls & Curls embossing folder then spritzed with Frost White Shimmer paint.
Then place over the stamped images - I chose to raise the embossed panel for added dimension, but you could just adhere straight to your card base. I silver embossed the sentiment and popped it up with a couple of dimensionals, it was actually surprising how quickly this card came together, you have to like that :)
Daylight isn't my friend this time of year, it's hard to find good light before after I go to my 9-5 job, I shone a torch to show the shimmer from the shimmer paint.
