If you follow my creations, you will know that masculine themed cards are my nemesis... but I think today I have succeeded with my creation!
When shopping remember to use the current Hostess code displayed at the top of my blog at the check out and you will be eligible for a Thank You gift for for shopping with me - learn more here - be sure to click YES that you allow me as your demonstrator to contact you in your account settings otherwise I won't be able to forward your Thank You gift.
For the creation I used a mix of the Layered Circle Dies and Stitched Shapes - I cut the circles in halve (with the exception of the small circle) before adhering together, it was quite easy to align the circles by doing this.
Happy is stamped in Sahara Sand using the Well Said Stamp Set, and the coordinating Birthday Sentiment is die cut from Well Written.
I decided to add a layer of texture with the new Tasteful Texture 3D embossing folder - it give more detail than the Subtle embossing folder, which was perfect for this design.

That is so so clever, agree male cards are difficult and more so if they do not have a hobby.
ReplyDeleteI love this card! It is so elegantly simple.
ReplyDeleteSo very cool!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inspiration and the instructions on how you made this great card. I have cased the circle design and have put a link to your blog in my post. Such a great masculine style. I did not use the small circles in my cards, but will do that in a future card. Appreciated.
ReplyDeleteAwww thanks Penny, lovely to hear I gave you inspiration to create, you have put the biggest smile on my face after a long day at my not so 9-5 day job xxx
