Just Add Ink and my friend Carolina Evans. Hello crafty friends, I've got a gorgeous slimline card for you today, inspired by the colour challenge at
As soon as I saw these colours I headed to the Dressed to Impress stamp set, and with these gorgeous "me colours" I went with a slim line design so I could stamp a few more images.
Isn't the colour combination just beautiful! I haven't really used much (if any) Merry Merlot before, but it perfectly complimented by Rococco Rose and Mint Macaron, there really wasn't much for me to do, except add a little bling, a girl always needs a little sparkle.
I utilised the Stitched So Sweetly dies for the scalloped edge masking the join of the 2 two rectangles with the sentiment dies. I adapted my slimline dimensions to fit the Australian standard DL envelope:
- cut an A4 sheet (21 x 29.7cm) of card stock at 20cm, making your card base 21 x 20 cm,
- score at 10 cm, the front of your card now measures 21 x 10 cm.
- the piece of remaining card stock just needs 2mm cut from the bottom to make the perfect layer (see above inside of card).
That's it, 2 cuts, a score and a fold, and bonus layer ready too!
Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.
