Forever Fern to a friend

After thinking I was going to have a super crafty weekend, I found that I lost my mojo, it may have been brought on by be me trying to get used to "gradual lens" in my new glasses (which is proving to be more of a challenge than I expected) so today I tried and tried, and after a couple of disasters (which include a very inky ink pad & inky hands - lets not go there) I finally had a design I was happy with.

I ended up only using 1 stamp from the the Forever Fern set for the design, and inked it with a mixture of Old Olive & Garden Green, then stamped the sentiment in the centre. It was looking a little stark, so I added a highlight of colour with Old Olive to the top of the card with a soft brush, blending to nothing towards the sentiment.
