What happens in Santa's Workshop stays in the workshop #elfie

That mischievous little elf is back, and he's been having a ball, just as I did creating this card for the Stamping Friends Christmas themed Blog hop. I find colouring to be quite relaxing, so I really enjoyed creating this card. I also used one of my favouite techques.... masking, to "layer" the additional small presents. Then all that was left was to grab my Stampin' Blends and colour to my hearts content. I created the textured layer using the Subtle embossing folder, I must say, I do love how this little bit of texture can add so much to a card, and it's so simple! The #ELFIE set has several sentiments, I also stamped the inside of the card, carrying the Stitched Rectangle theme to the inside of the card too. I also made a complimenting  Gift Box with the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box dies, and added a tag by fussy cutting another of the Elfie images, this little guy is so stinking cute!  hope the projects you've see...

Elfie.... what do you do on a Long Weekend?

It's been a super busy weekend so far, World Card Making Day yesterday, and as it is a long weekend my hubby thought it would be an idea to get a mini skip and do some "spring cleaning"..... and we visited a friends property and met Simon the cow and saw some lambs. I managed to make my way over to the Global Design Project , and made a quick card featuring Elfie, isn't he adorable! The colour theme was perfect for my card, green with red with a frosty a blue background. I stamped some silver snowflakes and also added Snowflake Sequins and a touch of Frost White Shimmer paint for some Christmas bling. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below.  Hovering over the product name and clicking on the underlined text will take you directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps...
