To a Wild Rose z-fold

Hello again,  I have one more z-fold card from my class last weekend, this card focuses on using die cut images up your z-fold. I've used the To a Wild Rose Bundle with Petal Pink, Sahara Sand & Soft Sea Foam. After cutting the z-fold base, I stamped and die cut flowers and leaves, then placed then with the card folded flat, positioned them before adhering I used dimensionals to make it easy to pop the foliage under the flowers, I love this effect. Lastly I stamped the sentiment then added some bling with Champagne Rhinestones . If you are interested in the measurements I've used for the card (based on A4 card stock and a Letter size alternative) you can find them  HERE . Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month.  I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting a...

Fun fold with Fancy Phrases

What a week! Yesterday was our last day in our COVID lockdown - a perfect way to send the afternoon running an online class in Kylie's Crazy Crafters, it was so much fund and so nice to see so what everyone created. My class was focused on making a z-fold card, and particpants could use any stamp set or bundle of their choice - I started by showing how to create the base, and we went from there. My first card was all stamping, no die cut elements, I used the Fancy Phrases set with Blushing Bride and hint of Sahara Sand. I simply stamped the inside of the card and the middle section of the back, then scored and folded, then added the sentitments. And the best thing, it fits in a standard C6 envelope for posting! If you are interested in the measurements I've used for the card (based on A4 card stock and a Letter size alternative) you can find them HERE . I'll be showing more z-folds during the days to come, t hanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. S...

By popular demand... Imperial & Metric dimensions for z-Fold cards

I have had a number of requests regarding the US or imperial measurements/dimensions that I use for my z-fold cards - I've done my best to convert to American size cardstock and inches for you The template is designed so that you can make 2 cards with one piece of cardstock.   Here is the order in which I applied the above measurements to make the card base: Metric - A4 measure up 6.5 cm from bottom left corner, make a small mark measure down 6.5 cm from top right corner, make a small mark line up marks on your trimmer at top and bottom of the card stock and cut. Your A4 sheet is cut diagonally and you have 2 z-fold card bases :) on the flat edge of the cardstock (not the diagonal cut edge) score at 9.9 cm and again at 19.8 cm fold along the score lines and burnish with bone folder  there you have it, you are all ready to decorate your z-fold card Imperial - US trim 1/8 inch from your cardstock so that it measures 10 7/8 inches wide measure ...

z-Fold card dimensions

Time flys when you are having fun..... or when you injure yourself and need lots of rest to recuperate. My back had a nasty run in with a sock, then a mini pizza and then a piece of paper! Long story short, I haven't been able to sit for any great length of time for the past few weeks, so crafting, blogging and keeping up with Facebook and emails has been a challenge to say the least, I am starting to catch up, but still have a way to go! I have had a number of requests regarding the measurements/dimensions of the Lift me up Z-Fold card I created on 20th February - so here you go! In Australia our A4 cardstock measures 21.0 cm x 29.7 cm, I designed the template so that I can make 2 cards with 1 piece of A4 cardstock, and the card will fit in a standard size envelope too! Here is the order in which I applied the above measurements to make the card base: measure up 6.5 cm from bottom left corner, make a small mark measure down 6.5 cm from top right corner, ...
