Itty Bitty Seasonal Layers Shaker card

It's that time again, the first Friday of the month, so that means we are back with the All Star Tutorial Bundle Blog Hop.  I enjoyed making the shaker card so much for my tutorial, so I thought I would make another (not the same as my tutorial), and I also went with a 1 colour theme, this time Purple Posy. To make the frame, I positioned 2 oval dies and held in place with Washi tape, then cut 3 (4 may have been better for height, but hey that's the way things go sometimes), then die cut that was going to be on top, I placed the snowflake die and run through the cutter so that I could "in-lay" the snowflakes (the snowflakes are cut from a separate piece of cardstock). Then all that needs to be done is glue the ovals in place add a die cut window sheet then place the snowflake layer on top then sprinkle some sequins and adhere the oval window to the front of your card. Lastly I stamped the sentiment and added some jewel Rhines...

Pretty in Pink this Snowman Season

I am so glad my working week is finally over, and what better way to celebrate than join a blog hop with the Ink It, Stamp It! team. Some days I just need to create with pink, and after the week I've had, this was one of those days! My stamping is simple, with just a hint of Petal Pink, layering on vellum using the Frosted Frames dies, then to bring things to life I added an array of snowflakes uses dies from the Christmas Layers set & spritzed the background with Frost White Shimmer Paint. The fun lines of the snowman images in this set are also carried through into the senitments, I decided to feature one of them inside my card, also adding the cute snowflakes in the set too! Be sure to visit all the team in the list below and see their wonderful Christmas themed projects, you are currently visiting Sue Vine - Miss Pinks Craft Spot, to keep hopping around see the list below to see who is up next. Itty Bitty Christmas Layers for #GDP214

I "pro-craftinated" way too much this weekend, then told myself off and  finally got inky this afternoon with the help of the Global Design Challenge Sketch . I had a plan and it came together quite quickly - here's what I created: I struggled to decide between Seaside Spray and Pool Party, deciding on Pool Party mainly because I had more in my supplies and due to an uncompleted Seaside Spray project. There is actually a bit going on with this card, in this shot you can see the Subtle embossing on the base layer, as well as a "spray" of white Craft ink behind the snowflakes. I also added a touch of bling by spritzing the Pool Party background with Frost White Shimmer paint, then Silver embossed the sentiment. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below.  Hovering over the product name and clicking...
