Hello crafters! Have you ever had a vision when you have first seen a stamp or die set? I had one when I saw the Irresistible Blooms Dies ,  I saw the dots and lines die and thought, that would look amazing with some bling in the dots! With my vision intact when I got my order I set about to make it come to life, using coordinating Loose Frosted Dots would be a perfect source for bling. I started by stamping the sentiment from the Biggest Wish stamp set, then die cut two of the "dots & lines", snipping them to fit around the sentiment and adding the Frosted Dots - it was a bit fiddly, but I think you will agree it was worth the effort. Hello crafters, I got inky this afternoon to join this weeks TGIF challenge which is all about Sale-a-bration! Speaking of Sale-a-bration,... have you heard - due to issues with stock availability in early January Sale-a-bration has been extended in the South Pacific til March 16th. For my project today I grabbed the Friendly Hello stamp set , and stamped along one edge of my card front using scraps of paper to mask the images so they neatly overlapped each other. After adding the solid foliage, I stamped my sentiment from the Biggest Wish stamp set , then I picked up a Blending Brush and added Fresh Freesia lightly over the floral images, concentrating the colour on the centre of each flower. Next I blended a strip of Soft Sea Foam, followed by Balmy Blue. Then a splattered a little of each colour using Stampin Write Markers (masking with scraps again), then splattered a touch of Basic Black over everything. To finish I added some Matte Black Dots and some Blank and White twine. T...

Hello everyone, , todays card is for Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop, our Blog Hop Theme: Thank you . Each month I make a variety of Thank You cards so I've always got some on hand to send in the mail. I "broke first ink" on the All Things Fabulous stamp set for this card - I've had it for a while now, and after making this card don't know why I waited so long to use it! I started by stamping the 2 largest flowers in the  All Things Fabulous stamp set  using: Flirty Flamingo, Polished Pink, Magenta Madness  -  Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather - Gorgeous Grape  -  Mango Melody, Pale Papaya, Calypso Coral . The leaves are stamped in  Pear Pizzazz , and the "weathered" background with  Sahara Sand  using the  Birch background stamp , All of the flowers and leaves were then cut with the  Fabulous Floral dies , and I also cut the decorative lattice to arrange the elements on and around - to make the lattice the length ...

Wow the weekend went fast, a day out and about yesterday including an Ikea visit, so today was spent making up some new draws for the craft studio, before I knew it the day had almost gone, so I got inky with Biggest Wish for a #simplestamping creation. I chose 2 colours that created an ombre effect, and stamped the larger word in the lighter colour, then overstamped with the darker for the scripted word. I thought about leaving with just stamping, but then added some stripes with scraps of Coastal Cabana & Bermuda Bay. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you've had a great weekend.
