Abundant Beauty - masking with Decorative Masks!

Hello there my crafty friends, I have a treat for you today - a technique video! I love, love the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks, and for my 2 for 1 creation I have used the masking technique to overlay the flowers - so much fun, it did take a little longer than I thought, but I think you will agree the finished cards are well worth the effort. You can see all the details on how I created the card front's on my video, just click here . My video is part of the Night Angels Global Video Hop - this month demonstrators from around the globe are highlight items from the new Mini Catalogue, lots to see, and lots of ideas to boot. You can view the hop by finding the next demonstrator in the Description section of the video on You Tube. I can't decide which layout I like the best? Do you have a preference? Let me know in the comments :) Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I use...

Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks CC&S

Two for two 2 crafty afternoons - what a wonderful weekend! I've been waiting to be in a fussy cutting mood to try out my new Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks ...... and I just love them! They are super easy to use - numbered so you know which to use first, you can just create your image as per the masks, but I choose to cut them out so I could put them in a cluster. Colour combination for this design comes from the challenge below, a little different for flowers as I made the centre blue, but I still think the flowers are just gorgeous! Today I'm joining the CAS Colours & Sketches challenge Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and YouTube channel running. If you live in Australia and don't already...

Welcome back to Berry Burst with Cheerful Daisies

Hello my crafty friends, I'm playing along with this weeks  TGIF colour challenge which features Berry Burst (so excited this colour has returned), Petal Pink and Basic Black. I started by using Artistic Mix Decorative Masks, blending Black lightly on my card front, once I'd finished blending I trimmed down so the checks were symmetrical and added the Scalloped edge before adhering to the card base. Now for some fun, die cutting and laying images from the Cheerful Daisies bundle, I'm super happy with the triple layers. The embossed effect from the die cut is beautiful, adding detail and texture to your cut image. The sentiment is from a retired set, but the border die framing it is part of the bundle. Now I'm all set for Mother's Day next week when I see my mum. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly ...

Color Fusers Blog Hop May 2023

Hello everyone, it's the beginning of a new month, so that means it's time for this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, is all about the new 2023-2025 InColors! There is also a colour refresh, so lots of new colours are on there way, but today I am super excited to try out Moody Mauve, my favourite from this group. I've done 2 tone stamping so you can see first and second generation colours of Moody Mauve using the Two-Tone Flora stamp set, as well as blending the ink on to Moody Mauve cardstock using a Artistic Mix Decorative mask . As you can see Moody Mauve is stunning in both a pastel (2nd generation stamping) as well as full depth. I've combined with Basic Grey...... I may have done a booboo with my pre-order and missed Pebbled Path; but based on the sample of Pebbled Path I have, it would be perfect companion for Mood Mauve  To finish I added "thanks" from Sentimental Park , and some Basic Rhinestones for just a touch of bling. Be su...

Full of Love with Just Add Ink

Hello friends, when I saw the colour challenge at Just Add Ink this week I couldn't resist joining in the challenge: Aren't the colours just beautiful! I immediately saw flowers, and then decided on the Full of Love stamp set and pulled out my Stampin Blends , then fussy cut the arrangement. I blended a mix of Fresh Freesia and Starry Sky for the background.... confession time, I didn't clean off my mask properly after applying a light wash of Starry Sky, so when I removed the larger of the 2 plaid Artistic Mix Decorative Masks and applied Fresh Freesia things all kinda blended together - so whilst not what I was aiming for I was happy with the blending of the 2 colours. The sentiment is from the stamp set to, I kept things simple and just stamped directly onto the card base rather than fussy cutting it too. I finish by  adding some Rhinestone Basic Jewels in the centre of the flowers for a touch of bling. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project....
