Smile with Pretty Florals

Hello there! Today I'm sharing a slimline card created using item from the Florals in Bloom suite.  I've used Fresh Freesia, Bubble Bath and Balmy Blue with Lemon Lime Twist. I used Blending Brushes to add ink to the centre of the die cuts to make the intricate fine line dies really pop. I really like the slimline size for these flowers, I can't decide if I prefer the pink or purple tones in these flowers, the are both equally gorgeous! After heat embossing the sentiment I added a little touch of bling with rhinestones to finish. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and YouTube channel running. If you live in Australia and don't already have a Demonstrator I'd love to be yours.  Pretty Florals ...

Hello with Beautiful Butterflies

Hello, crafty friends, can you believe that January is almost past us by? Where does time go? Inspiration for my card today was from a much cooler day during my 8-4 working week where I realised I was listening to the birds outside my study window and glance out and saw a beautiful butterfly in the garden. I've used the Beautiful Butterflies bundle, which includes stamp set, dies and 3D embossing folder. You can use the embossing folder as a background and selected die cuts also fit into the images in the folder - like my large colourful butterfly, I love these multi purpose folders, so many options to make gorgeous cards! I've used both embossed (background) and de-bossed (feature butterfly in this design..... it may have been a slight oversight/accident, but never the less I'm more than happy with the result. Before cutting the feature I used blending brushes to apply Crumb Cake, Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight, and then flick water over the colouring, then I die cut a...

All Star Design Team - Regal Winter

Hello crafters, a new month, means a new bundle from the All Star Design Team. This month we are showcasing the Regal Winter suite. The All Star Design Team not only design a Tutorial Project that’s exclusive but we also each design an additional project to share here for further inspiration. I decided to create a pastel slimline card share that this suite is not limited to the darker bolder colours in the DSP. I've used Fresh Freesia and Bubble Bath for the flowers and Soft Sea Foam for the foliage. For the background I lightly blended Pool Party before adhering the intricate die cuts to the top and bottom, then built the floral arrangement on top. I sentiment is Soft Sea Foam on Soft Sea Foam, and for that touch of bling Iridescent Pearls were perfect for my colour combination. Regal Winter Inspiration Below is a sneak peek of what’s in store with this month’s Bundle. You’ll see my teaser in the bottom left of the image.  There is more inspiration from the Team within this Blog H...

Christmas Classics with Joy of Noel

Hi there crafty friends! Its pageant day in Adelaide today. After a busy working week I didn't feel like the early start to get a good possie or battling the crowds in the city, so I decided to make a Christmas card from the tranquility of my craft studio instead. I combined that stamped image from Joy of Noel with sentiments from Christmas Classics - these 2 stamp set combine beautifully! I used slightly not traditional colours by opting for a wash to lighten Moody Mauve berries instead of "red" and Pretty Peacock for the leaves. I used the edge of a Deckled Rectangle die to create the Moody Mauve "torn edges" down either side of the card front - a fun alternative to a straight cut. Some Elegant silver twine and rhinestone bling to finish. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. Hello........ with Irresistible Blooms

Happy weekend crafty friends, I'm finding my way back to my creative groove after a rough couple of months, so I decided to create with a set that takes me back to what I like designing with..... flowers and the colour pink. I've had this online exclusive set for a while now and it needed some love, I heat embossed the images before adding additional colour with blending brushes to create depth. The flowers are my new favourite pink - Bubble Bath with just a touch of Berry Blast to the centre, and the flowers Soft Seafoam with ta hint of Pretty Peacock. I added 2 of the die cut circles from the Irresistible Blooms suite to lengthen the design for the slimline card, and finished with the coordinating Loose Frosted Dots. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. Hello There, Darling Details

Hello my crafty friends! I've created a slimline card using the Darling Details bundle - the dies in this set are super cute, having such pretty detail for the borders they were just a "must have" for me. With the help of some washi tape and careful die positioning and use of my die cutting machine, I had my frame in 3 passes of the large decorative border die - I just took my time and thought through what I was doing to extend the size to fit my slimline design. I used a mixture of first and second generation stamping for the flowers and leaves, then die cut and positioned, finishing with a sentiment from the stamp set and a touch of bling with Iridescent Pearls. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month.
