Friends forever with Animal Expedition

Welcome to this month's Go For Greece blog hop, I'm a long way off achieving the incentive trip, but thank's to Kylie and everyone in the group I have learned so much, and you never know, it might just be next year's incentive trip that will be in my travel plans - here's hoping! I've made so many friends by being a demonstrator with Stampin' Up!, and that's what  has inspired my creation today: Continuing with my personal challenge of using DSP on every project I create this month, I couldn't help but put the Kangaroo and Koala from Animal Expedition DSP in the centre of my card, after all I am from the land of down under! Eastern Beauty has the perfect friends sentiment, for each of the pairs of critters on the DSP. I decided to keep things simple, no bling (yes, check my temperature) but did add LinenThread between the Crumb Cake cardstock and DSP, and then added a triple bow - that count's as an embel...

Memory Keeping with Sweet Soiree

I did it, and I couldn't be happier! Way back when I was preparing for OnStage in November I wanted to make a scrapbook page, well, time got the better of me and it didn't happen, but last night I came across the photos I had chosen, so today I've finally made the Scrapbook page, YAY ME! I've used half a sheet of the gorgeous  Sweet Soirée Specialty Designer Series Paper and pre cut elements from the  Sweet Soirée Embellishment Kit - both of these items are retiring on May 31st so be quick before they are gone, and as an added bonus the DSP is also discounted, woot happy days! I used sentiments from Eastern Beauty , and a May Flower Framelit Die to add to the floral arrangement - I just love how easy it is to mix and match Stampin' Up! items. The  Decorative Ribbon Border Punch was also a perfect accompaniment, and lastly a strip of Velvet Ribbon (available June 1st). Here's hoping to this being the first of many more 12 x 1...

Super Quick on Sunday

I've got a quick and simple card for you today, I don't know if it is because the sun is shining or my cold is beginning to fade, but inspiration found it's way to me and I just had to put ink to paper. This card was super quick to make, two stamps and a little colour and it is done! This cute little butterfly is from the Garden Girl stamp set, I love the little spiral trial, and thought it would lovely to join it to the Hello sentiment from Eastern Beauty I coloured the butterfly using my Stampin' Write Markers, you could also use Water Colour pencils too. I decided to add a little bling with iridescent sequins - I love how these come in 3 different sizes. Don't forget, to make the most of Bonus Day's in June, there are less than 10 days left to take advantage of this offer and   earn a $9 voucher for every $90 you spend in my store.   Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.  I would love to u...
