Stampers Showcase - All about embossing

Ah... the wonder of Heat Embossing, I don't think I will ever grow tired of seeing dull powder turning into a beautiful shiny embossed finish, there is something mesmerising about it. For my card I've embossed both fine/detailed stamping as well as bolder lines in the sentiment to show the beauty of embossing for you, I've also decided last miniute to record me making the card so you can see "the wonder" as I call it. Isn't the shine of the embossing just beautiful, like I said in the recording I love all embossing techniques, but heat embossing would have to be my favourite. I can't wait for you to see all the other inspiration from the new catalogue in the hop today, so why don't you go ahead and click the next button to visit the lovely Leonie Stuart. Be sure to follow the hop back around to me (or wherever you started) so you don't miss out on any great ideas! Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Thank You Gorgeous Posies

Hello and welcome, today I'm joining Bruno & Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop with fellow demonstrators who are all working on building our businesses and having fun while we do it. There are some awesomely talented ladies in this group, so sit back and get ready for some amazing inspiration with a variety Stampin' Up! products. I've cracked open a newly delivered stamp set called Gorgeous Posies, at first I overlooked this stamp set in the catalogue, it can be purchased separately or in conjuction with the Gorgeous Posies Project Kit. I'm absolutely adoring this set, the stamp gives you shades of ink with just one application, I'm so happy with my first project. Aren't those posies just gorgeous!! I started by stamping the sentiment, then the upper posy in Petal Pink, then I die cut the sentiment & corner including the posy and put that to one side. Then I used the masking technique to stamp and overlap the Soft Sea Foam leaves and lower flowe...

Thank You with Forever Fern

Hello, today I'm taking part in Kylie Bertucci's Highlight Gallery, it's been a while since I joined in, but I'm on a roll with creations at the moment so I'm not going to stop! Our theme is Thank You, it's hard to believe with the craziness of 2020 that many people these days still  forget these simple words - Thank you. A little bit of compassion and kindness goes such a long way, it can turn someone's not so good day turn around, all by hearing these two little words. My card today uses the Forever Fern Bundle and I paired it with a sentiment from So Sentimental. I tried to create an "Australian feel" with the colour combination, it's spring here and our native trees are just beginning to show their flowers. I really enjoy creating die cut arrangements, I find it therapeutic . I used both Old Olive and Pear Pizzz for the leaves with Daffodil Delight, then added Cinnamon Cider highlights to compliment the sentiment. I also die cut one of the ...

Getting inky with Forever Fern

After a busy morning, I got into the craft studio this afternoon - my happy place (especially when all the household tasks are done, and aren't calling me to complete them). I broke out a new set, Forever Fern - I finally gave in after seeing so many lovely creations made with it, here's what I came up with: I kept with the "greenery" theme of the set for this card, using Garden Green, Old Olive and a hint of Gorgeous Grape.  Being a DistINKtive stamp, it seriously does most of the work for you, instantly creating shades of colour with no effort at all. So Sentimental provided the "thank you" and likewise the coordinating die to frame the sentiment, then all I did was layer on some cardstock and add a Linen Thread highlight for embellishment. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month.  I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the p...
