Hello there Full of Love

Hello there crafters, today I have a cute card using the Full of  Love Stamp Set and the Awash in Beauty DSP . I chose a piece of DSP that wasn't too busy, after using one of the  one of the squares in Stylish Shapes to cut the stamped image I used Calypso Coral and Olive Green in the colouring of the stamped image to bring in colours from the DSP.  I added a frame of Light Balmy Blue around the image before Old Olive mat. The sentiment is white heat embossed, it really pops off the Calypso Coral banner. For a touch of bling I added some Basic Rhinestone Jewels to finish the card. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and YouTube channel running. Awash in Beauty Note Cards

Hello there crafters, today I have a cute set of note cards using the   Awash in Beauty DSP and  Full of  Love Stamp Set for the sentiments. Using a piece of A4 cardstock I created 3 notecards measuring 9.9 cm x 19.8 cm. I then cut an arrangement of flowers using a square Stylish Shapes from the Awash in Beauty DSP , then chose a mat that coordinated with the image. Stamping 3 different sentiments in Mossy Meadow. I also cut a mat of Basic White DSP for each note card. I started with a basic note card. adding a Merry Merlot mat to the die cut DSP, then adhered the Basic White mat to the note card then added the DSP mat to the note card using dimensionals. For the second card I embossed the Basic White note card with  Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder , adding a Mossy Meadow mat to the die cut DSP and mounted with dimensionals. For the last note card I used the  Stitched Greenery Die to emboss the Basic White Mat, added a Calypso Coral Mat to the DSP, the mounted...

Banner up with Full of Love

Hello crafty friends, I was stuck for ideas, so visited my Pinterest board with card sketches for this design. I started by stamping image and image from Full of Love o n Basic White cardstock with Memento Black ink, then coloured with Stampin’ Blends - Mossy Meadow, Calypso Coral, Polished Pink, So Saffron and Cherry Cobbler.  I cut the coloured image using the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies set , cut Calypso Coral with the long wide banner. I cut and created the large banner in Mossy Meadow. Here's what I did behind the scenes with the banner: I added the circle image using Dimensionals, and to finish added 3 Basic Rhinestone Jewels for at touch of Bling. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. Awash with Beauty with the All Star Tutorial Team

Hello crafters, a new month, means a new All Star Tutorial. This month we are showcasing the  Awash with Beauty suite  from the Jan-June 2022 Mini Catalogue. The All Star Tutorial Design Team not only design a Tutorial Project that’s exclusive but we also each design an additional project to share here for further inspiration. I've made the gorgeous Awash in Beauty DSP and dies a focus for my project today. I placed an adhesive sheet on the cardstock before cutting the lattice, making is easy to adhere to the pretty blue DSP background. I used the dies to cut images directly from the DSP, as well as a little piece of Basic White foliage in my floral arrangement. I used one of the dies from the Fabulous Frames die set for the focal point, adding a layer of vellum in the "window" before arranging the die cut flowers. I finished by adding the sentiment strip, twine and Iridescent Pearls for a touch of bling. Awash with Beauty Inspiration Below is a sneak peek of what’s in ...

Deckled Happiness!

Hello my crafty friends, welcome to the Stamping with Friends Blog hop - our theme: Strip Cards, and what we mean by this is cards that use strips of cardstock or DSP, even scraps - you may be familiar with the Scrappy Strip Technique? A great way to use those left over pieces you can't bear to throw away. As you know I love layers and fine lines and details, and to tear a piece of cardstock............ewwwww! But, my problem is solved with the new Deckled Rectangle Dies , torn edges with form .. WOOT, it's a win for me! So with the torn edges under control, I also cut into a piece of DSP... I know, right!  The Awash in Beauty DSP is so pretty, especially the piece that is perfect for a card front all by itself - it was just begging to be cut, so I did. I made the card slimeine so as to not loose any of that gorgeous print. For contrast I added "torn" strips of Mossy Meadow and Polished Pink with my Basic White and used a sentiment from the Happiness Abounds stamp se...

Ombre Stampin' Dreams - Awash in Beauty

Hi there crafty friends, this months blog hop theme is OMBRE - one of my favourite effects, I just love seeing a colour going from light to dark. I was in a pinch for time as a storm is coming and I was running out of light for my photos, so I've used DSP for a "simple" Ombre design. Like all Stampin' Up DSP, "side B" of the Awash in Beauty DSP is just as beautiful as side A, and of course I just loved this Polished Pink design when I saw it. The paper has subtle variations of Polished Pink behind the white images, just perfect for this blogs ombre theme. I've used one of my "goto" layouts for quick cards and added stitched and scalloped edges with a Penned Flowers die to highlight the bright but soft design on the DSP.  The sentiment is from the Go To Greetings stamp set , and I added some Glossy Dots to finish my quick ombre card.
