Rococo To a Wild Rose

Hello crafty friends, todays card is for Kylie Bertucci's International Highlights, our Theme: Thank you. A little kindness can truly brighten someone's day, and what better way than to send a  card. I've used one of my favourite floral sets that is soon to retire - To a Wild Rose. My colour base is Rococo Rose. I started by using a Blending Brush to create my ombre background, then overlaid that with a die cut from the Best Plaid Builder dies (also retiring). Then I stamped my flowers, stamping off once before applying Blushing Bride for the background and Rococo Rose for depth of colour, Pretty Peacock has been stamped of twice for the leaves, then die cut with the coordinating dies. The "frame" is from a scrap that I had previously cut with Stitched Rectangles, it's popped up with Dimensionals to give it height over the flowers. If my card put a smile on your face, please click below to vote for me; the top ten will get to be part of an international blog h...

To a Wild Rose z-fold

Hello again,  I have one more z-fold card from my class last weekend, this card focuses on using die cut images up your z-fold. I've used the To a Wild Rose Bundle with Petal Pink, Sahara Sand & Soft Sea Foam. After cutting the z-fold base, I stamped and die cut flowers and leaves, then placed then with the card folded flat, positioned them before adhering I used dimensionals to make it easy to pop the foliage under the flowers, I love this effect. Lastly I stamped the sentiment then added some bling with Champagne Rhinestones . If you are interested in the measurements I've used for the card (based on A4 card stock and a Letter size alternative) you can find them  HERE . Hello with flowers and a helper

Hello, I got stuck into some colour therapy today with watercolor pencils and the Prized Peony Bundle, and as you can see from below I had a helper too! I used Gorgeous Grape & Balmy Blue pencils, using a Color Blender to "melt and blend" and it would seem I went a bit overboard with be Balmy Blue for the purple tone I was intending. I splattered a Iittle Crushed Curry and Black onto the card base before arranging the flowers with Dimensionals, then added a touch of bling with the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots - aren't they just gorgeous! The sentiment is from the To a Wild Rose set. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month.  I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the  link to be taken directly to the product and earn yourself a Bonus Days voucher in the month of July, to redeem in August 2020. Hello Wild Rose

One of my favourite sets from the Annual Catalogue is "To a Wild Rose", my grandma's front yard was filled with Roses, it's one of the many memories of I have from school holidays and visits to my grandparents house in the country. Maybe it was all the flowers from Valentines Day that I saw, anyway I decided to say "hello"  and ink up this set on this nice sunny day in Adelaide. The Two Step Stamping with Photopolymer stamps makes creating with this set a breeze, then I cut with the coordinating dies, and layered the arrangement, lastly stamping the sentiment and adding a touch of bling with Nobel Peacock Rhinestones. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and YouTube channel running. If you live in Australia and don't already have a Demonstrator I'd love...
