Simple Stamping with Christmas Scottie

Hello crafty friends, I'm busy preparing Christmas cards for my hubbys Dog Wash business, and what better way to use a #simplestamping design. I've used the punch from the Christmas Scottie bundle for my dog with an  Elegant Twine bow overlaid on a Wonderful Snowflake , and that's it, so simple yet super cute and pretty. I combined Basic White with Smoky Slate, and then Pool Party and Blushing Bride for the Basic White dog, all of which work well with the iridescent foil snowflake. My only stamping is for the sentiment inside the card, I'm kinda partial to "May your days be furry and bright" from the Christmas Scottie stamp set for this design and since the cute little dog would have just been washed and groomed! Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. Blossoming Happiness Abounds

Hey there crafty friends, its been a really cold day in Adelaide today, so I decided to say put get nice and warm and have a creative afternoon. I've been waiting for time to myself to enjoy some of my recent purchases, and today I've used the Happiness Abounds Bundle from the Hues of Happiness Suite the first time. As tempted as I was to die cut some of the gorgeous flowers from the DSP, I restrained my self to creating a simple card - using the decorative die and a sentiment to create a #simplestamping design. I decided to add some subtle bling behind the die cut by adhering a layer of Metallic Mesh Ribbon, then I heat embossed the sentiment and added some Rhinestones to finish. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you have enjoyed my offering for this month and that you like the sneak peek enough to consider obtaining this tutorial from me.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and YouTube channel running. #simplestamping with Sweet Songbirds

Hello crafty Friends, I hope you are having an enjoyable Easter. After some catch ups with friends and family over the extended weekend I managed some time in the my craft studio with a per-order item from the upcoming 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue - the  Sweet Songbirds Bundle . The stamp set comes with a coordinating punch to cut your sweet songbird, I used 3 of the new In Colors in my design - stamping with Sweet Sorbet , card base of Starry Sky and a pop of Parakeet Party. I changed my wings up to make the bird look like she is flying, using the "chest piece" as the big wing, and the wing for the background wing. After stamping the musical notes I added some Black & White twine (retiring soon) and some Rhinestone Gems. Both the Bundle and the featured colours are available to customers from 3rd May 2022 - can't wait til then, no problem - if you join you get can get access to these and other pre-order times immediately! Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed ...

In Bloom with Happiest of Birthdays

Happy weekend crafty friends, I hope it has been a productive one for you.  I took some time out to go through the retiring items on the Last Chance List, and todays card with 2 of the items on the list - sad face. I'll start with In Bloom - I haven't used the stamp set a lot, but LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the coordinating Pierced Dies. It's so easy to go with bold colours with these cute die cuts - I've used retiring 2020-2022 In Colors, Misty Moonlight, Bumblebee and my fav of the set, Magenta Madness. Next, Happiest of Birthdays, I really like the simplicity of these sentiments, and the mixture of fonts - a really good set to make some quick #simplestamping cards. The layout for my card is from this weeks CAS Colours & Sketches challenge . Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Daffodil Daydream Silhouette

Happy weekend crafty friends. I've used one of my favourite techniques to add a pop of colour to todays card - Masking. I started by stamping my image, then coloured the daffodils - I used Stampin' Blends, you could also use watercolour pencils. Then I cut a circle from a scrap piece of cardstock and positioned over the stamped image (masking the remainder of the card front), then lightly applied Balmy Blue to the circle using a Blending Brush. Next I added Soft Sea Foam to the leaves, only colouring to the edge of the circle.  Then I stamped the sentiment and added Holiday Rhinestones for a touch of bling to finish. A simple design with a little WOW factor created by the using a mask #simplestamping Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Hello crafty friends, I have another preview from the Jan-June Mini Catalogue for you today. The Sweet Conservations Bundle is part of the Sweet Talk Suite and is bound to put a smile of you face - and is able so much more than just a Valentines stamp set as you will see today. I chose some colours not highlighted in the suite for my card today, Pale Papaya, Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia. After stamping the images and text I cut with a coordinating die. I added some interest to the card base with a splatter of black by flicking my Stampin' Marker and lid, then adhered the hearts with Dimensionals.  Lastly adding bling with 2021-2023 In Color Jewels Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.
