Here's to You | Nautical Theme

I had a super full on working week, assistant Rimmer decided that as he was hungry there was no sleep in required! But looking back, sleep is over rated, I'm  so happy with my early morning creation and the early start  my crafting room this morning to start the weekend. I've made the hero of the card the nautical themed Designer Series Paper - Come Sail Away, perfect for a masculine card (which I normally struggle with where to start, but not with this DSP, problem solved. Seaside Notions with Stampin Friends

Welcome this this month's Stampin Friends Blog Hop, it's a "Summer theme" - my friends in the northern hemisphere are enjoying the sun, s ummer feels like it couldn't be further away for me, you see our heater broke 3 weeks ago, I am counting the days til our air conditioning get replaced and I don't need to have layer upon layer to feel "not cold". This is a one layer card, with simple black ink stamping, but not dull or boring to the eye, and yes I did add some shimmer and bling, but that's me and you could easily leave of the splatter of Shimmer Paint and Glitter Enamel dots if it's not your thing. Here's the steps to make this card: Mask a section in the middle of the card. Sponge a mixture of Mint Macaron, Bermuda Bay & Pacific Point Take the card into the kitchen, run the tap and get a little water on your fingers, then "flick" the card front - as the water dries it draws...
