Many Messages with Hand-Penned #loveitchopit

Hello crafters! Do you struggle to make the "first cut" in a piece of Designer Series paper - it's something I'm working to improve on, because once I make that cut I really do like the cards I create with DSP.  What better way to get you mojo going than to challenge yourself with a sketch - have a Pinterest Board where I pin sketches or card layouts to come back to if I'm drawing a blank for inspiration, here's one of them: I've taken the sketch quite literally, and decided to use products using the Hand Penned suite - Designer Series Paper and Memories & More cards.  I used complimentary designs of the  Hand Penned DSP  for my background pieces, and a card from the  Memories & More  pack for the focal centre image. To add some more interest to the card I layered each piece of DSP onto Basic White cardstock to give a tiny border, and then attached the largest layer with multi-purpose glue, and each layer after that with  Dimensionals , gi...

Hand Penned Memory Keeping

I've had a super relaxing Long Weekend, taking a bit of time to give me some TLC after a week of ups and downs. I ventured into the craft studio this afternoon and created a scrapbook page using the Hand Penned Designer Series Paper. Once I decided on which floral print to use, it was time to add coordinating colours with a couple of Hand Penned Memories & More cards ("simple pleasures and the hand drawn lines for writing about the image) From here, I added layers & shapes coordinating colours, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent, Mint Macaron & Misty Moonlight. I used a variety of die cuts, Scalloped Contours, Basic Borders. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month.  I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and YouTube channel running. If y...

Hand-Penned Memories & More

Have you every tried Memory Keeping or Scrapbooking? It is something that I always intend to do, but dont' get there as often as I would like, but it is so worth it. Today I pulled together a Scrapbook page layout, all that's left to do is add the photo and some journaling. For my base I've used a design for the new Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper, isn't it gorgeous!!! Next I choose a card from the Memories & More Card Pack - I decided to highlight Pale Papaya.  From here, I added layers & shapes coordinating colours, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent, Mint Macaron & Pool Party. I used a variety of die cuts, Scalloped Contours, Basic Borders (both new in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue), Stitched Rectangles and some scraps. Now I'm off to find a photo, while I'm doing that be sure to continue through the blog hop for more Memory Keeping ideas, you are currently visiting Sue Vine - MissPinksCraftSpot: Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing m...

Petal Passion Memories & More... so much more

Hello, today I am participating Kylie's international Highlight featuring our favourite Occasions and Sale-A-Bration items.  I have so many items that I like and have fallen in love with, one of these is the Petal Palette Suite , b ut I must say is that I was so surprised with the Petal Palette Memories and More Card set - and it also co-ordinates with the Petal Passion Suite! I adore the colour palette on these cards, black and white with Powder Pink, and the beautiful brush imagery also leads to shades of grey, featuring beautiful floral images and sentiments, you an create stunning memory keeping pages, but did you know you can also utilise these to create quick cards?  The cards coordinate with the Petal Palette bundle, I've used 2 sentiments from the stamp set, cut them with the banner framelit and layered to gorgeous decorative die underneath the banner.   How amazing is this watercolour wash background, it also reminds me of the backg...
