Happy Birthday with Flowing Flowers

Hello crafty friends, welcome to our hop where we have no specific theme, basically anything goes! I've decided to share a creation using the soon to be retired Flowing Flowers stamp set .  I fell in love with the font the moment I say this set, so wanted to show it to you one last time so you can snap it up before it is gone forever. I have done a card similar this design before, I stamped on Rich Razzleberry, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen on Very Vanilla - just love that font for Happy Birthday! I added Gilded Leafing to give the card has a bit of a vintage/old world feel about it. Instead of a bow I tried a knot (truth be told I was a little bow challenged today). For more crafting inspiration continue through the list below, you are bound to be inspired to get inky yourself! Blog Hop Index Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the pict...

Awash with Flowing Flowers

Hey there crafters, I have a different take on my "go to" design for using DSP, I think you will like it. I had some scraps of Awash in Beauty DSP left from another project, I die cut 3 small Stylish Shapes squares and added a Balmy Blue mat to create a thin border. Here's where things get a bit different, I cut a 3cm strip of Basic White cardstock and overlaid a layer of Metallic Mesh Ribbon, then mounted on a 3.5cm strip of Rich Razzleberry .  Then I added the DSP squares - TIP: to get good adhesion between the metallic mesh and the 2 layers of cardstock I placed 2 large stamping block on top for 3-5 minutes. While the glue was drying I die cut the scalloped edge using the border die from the Scalloped Contour Dies , then  stamped the sentiment from the Flower Flowers stamp set (retiring soon). All that's left to do is add the strip with the DSP squares to the card front, I also added some Basic Rhinestone Jewels for a little extra bling. Thanks for visiting tod...

Color Fusers Blog Hop | March 2022

Hello crafters, welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, our colors include Evening Evergreen , Soft Succulent and Rich Razzleberry .  I can't remember the last time I got inky with Rich Razzleberry, and Evening Evergreen could use a bit more love too so this Colour Challenge is quite timely for me. I decided to make a floral arrangement with the Flowing Flowers stamp set ,  using Evening Evergreen for the leaves and sentiment, with Soft Succulent on the dots - I added some finer dots of Soft Succulent by flicking the edge of my Stampin Write marker. I used Gilded Leafing to add touches of gold throughout the card front and a bow the Open Weave Ribbon , lastly adding  Genial Gems to compliment the other embellishments. Be sure to continue on through the rest of the Color Fusers Blog Hop by clicking the button below for lots more inspiration using this month’s colors. ESAD Sale-abration blog hop

Hello and welcome to the ESAD Blog hop featuring items from the January to June Mini & Saleabration catalogues. What's ESAD, I'm glad you ask: Today I'm showcasing the DistINKtive Flowing Flowers stamp set , not only are the flowers beautiful, but so is the variety of fonts and sentiments in the set. I lightly traced the edge of a small plate for a guide for my stamping, using daubers I applied a Polished Pink and Just Jade. I used 2 complimenting Stitched so Sweetly dies to enhance the sentiment, embossing the larger of the 2 with with Tasteful Textures embossing folder . To complete, I added coordinating Open Weave Ribbon and Genial Gems for a touch of bling. For my second card I used a variety of colours, Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Soft Seafoam and Balmy Blue . For this sentiment I used a Hippo Happiness die -stamping, embossing then cutting with the die. I added a scrap of Soft Seafoam card stock before embellishing with coordinating Open Weave Ribbon and Opa...
