Foil Frenzy for Christmas

As you would know I love shimmer and bling, so when I held a Cuppa & Craft class on the weekend I incorporated the Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series paper into the Christmas theme. Each attendee made a mini Bonbon that holds a Lindt chocolate (not telling how many of the sweeties didn't end up in the Bonbon!!!!) and a layered card featuring elements from the Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies . I used the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Flurry of Wishes stamp set   (currently on sale at the time of this post).  I can't decide on my favourite combination.... Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist Or Calypso Coral? I'd love to here your favourite I love the shiny shimmer that Foil Frenzy gave these projects, whilst not all traditional Christmas colours, they look fabulous, not to mention they coordinate! ***** If you are placing any orders that contain gifts for Christmas, please be advised to submit your order(s) by Mond...

Flurry of Wishes | #WWYS95

Less than a week til Christmas! The challenge set this week at What Will You Stamp? is to create a project using Flurry of Wishes from page 29 of the Annual Catalogue. This set has the matching Snow Flurry Punch for cutting the 2 smaller snowflakes and also coordinates with the Flower Medallion Punch for the medium snowflake. I decided to silver emboss all my stamping, I punched the 2 smaller snowflakes and mounted using dimensionals and added some silver thread. A quick and simple card with a lovely elegant effect. Flurry of Wishes | FMS263

Sketches are a great source for inspiration, I headed over to Freshly Made Sketches today and as soon as I saw this sketch I knew what stamp set I would use: It might be due to the temperature today (it is a hot 35°C) , or that Christmas is fast approaching - who knows, but the refreshing snowflakes of Flurry of Wishes seemed to call me for this challenge! I used the snowfall stamp from Merriest Wishes  to create my glittery background with Dazzling Diamonds - one of my Christmas essentials :), next I used Night of Navy to stamp the sentiment and on a scrap piece of cardstock the 2 smaller snowflakes from Flurry Of Wishes  then cut with the Snow Flurry Punch , and added the gold twine (inspired from Narelles project) from the Baker's Twine Trio Pack .   Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.  I would love to update you when I create a post! Flurry of Wishes - Large Gift Card Tag

I've been busy with last minute gift wrapping, I created this case and tag for a larger style Gift Card   This is a variation on my previous post which was made to fit the credit card size Gift Card . I adjusted the measurements to fit the larger sytle Gift Card - I have mastered the score and cut process with my Stampin Trimmer so it was super easy to make, and looks so effective and is the perfect way to dress up a Gift card.   For more ideas of how to package your gift cards head over to Just Add Ink 's challenge this week, I am also entering in: Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge - Anything Goes Christmas My Time to Craft - Last Minute Christmas Makes   Crafting for all Seasons - Christmas Anything but a Card I hope you have enjoyed my project; I would love to update you when I create a post! Owl Punch Reindeer Gift Card Holder

Gift cards can be a great present for someone that can be difficult to buy for - I've come up with what I think is a fabulous way to dress the gift card and make a lovely personalised gift   Rudolf is made from the amazing Owl Punch , the little owl feet have been trimmed off and the nose is cut with the punch too. The antlers are made from the Tree Builder punch. I saw my daughter watching Mr Maker during the week, she just loves "googly eyes", so I opted for them rather than the Owl punch eyes in this instance. I used the Ornate Tag Topper Punch to create the Tag, then made a template to make the case to slide it into.  The heat embossed sentiment is from the Flurry of Wishes stamp set.    I decided to mount the Gift Card Case onto a card so that we can write a message, but you could just leave gift just using the Case. To finish off I gave the the white cardstock a touch of winter cheer  with the Softly Falling TIEF - I just l...

Curvy Keepsake Box | Christmas Treat Box

Welcome back, I am just loving the Curvy Keepsake Box - just perfect for a special "Thank You"      I have been making gift boxes for small thank you gifts, I managed to fit 5 Cadbury Roses into the box, just enough for that "sweet treat".  I created the window using the smallest Christmas tree framelit from the Peaceful Pines bundle, and used the little baubles to stamp the box to create my own design.  The sentiment is from Flurry of Wishes - I carefully applied the 2 different colours to the separate words, trimmed with the Triple Banner punch, then layered on top of trees cut using the Peaceful Pines framelits. The colour inspiration came from Pals Paper Arts Challenge: I hope you have enjoyed my project today; I would love to update you when I create a post! Peaceful Pines | Sweet Sunday #296

I just love the versatility of the Peaceful Pines Bundle, so many options to decorate trees of different sizes The inspiration for today's card comes from the Sweet Sunday sketch challenge I originally chose one of the other stamps for this card for the larger tree, but I forgot to use my embossing buddy, and when I put the powder on the sentiment I could see that detail wasn't clear; so I salvaged the tree by layering the smaller tree on top, you can just see the edge of original stamping.  The smaller tree has the trunk t rimmed off and embossed with the gorgeous Christmas  lights stamp - I really love how this turned out, funny how a "disaster" can turn into something wonderful! The gold circle is also embossed, and the snowflakes are from the Softly Falling TIEF.  The sentiment is from the Flurry of Wishes stamp set - again, your embossing buddy is a must for this, hard to believe it can make such a difference, bu...
