Traditional themed Cheers to the Season

Hello crafty friends, I've had a productive morning and feel like I'm back in the swing of creating. Today I have something a little different for me, a square card and I've featured DSP! Inspired by by visit to office works where spotted some 160mm x 160mm envelopes,  I had my card size determined, all that was left was to choose an item from my Mini Catalogue pre-order......... and by process of elimination Cheers to the Season was the winner (available to purchase at my store from 6th Sept) I really like the simplicity of the images on this stamp set, making it a set to be able to grab and ink up and the images do the work for you, shading light and dark tones with no effort.  I wanted to use my In Color DSP, I thought that Cherry Cobbler would look fab with Wild Wheat as a "gold alternative". After stamping in used a matte of Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green, wrapped with Gold Trim (online exclusive) before mounting above the stripped DSP. All in all the card ...

Color Fusers Blog Hop December 2022

Hello crafty friends, it's time this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, our colors include Basic Black, Merry Merlot and Smoky Slate - I knew as soon as I saw these I was going to create an alternative Christmas design.... and then I thought Christmas Scottie ! My background is simple, stamped with "falala" from the Framed & Festive stamp set - I just adore the font in this set. Next I used the Stamparatus to triple stamp my scottie dog before punching, to bling up my puppy I added a Metallic Mesh Bow. To finish and draw in the Merry Merlot card base I added a solitary candy cane from the Sweet Candy Canes bundle, adding a Wink of Stella to the white in the candy cane for a touch of bling. Be sure to continue on through the rest of the Color Fusers Blog Hop by clicking the button below for lots more inspiration using this month’s colors. Next up is the amazing Melissa Kerman! Simple Stamping with Christmas Scottie

Hello crafty friends, I'm busy preparing Christmas cards for my hubbys Dog Wash business, and what better way to use a #simplestamping design. I've used the punch from the Christmas Scottie bundle for my dog with an  Elegant Twine bow overlaid on a Wonderful Snowflake , and that's it, so simple yet super cute and pretty. I combined Basic White with Smoky Slate, and then Pool Party and Blushing Bride for the Basic White dog, all of which work well with the iridescent foil snowflake. My only stamping is for the sentiment inside the card, I'm kinda partial to "May your days be furry and bright" from the Christmas Scottie stamp set for this design and since the cute little dog would have just been washed and groomed! Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. Magical Time of Year with Snowman Magic

Hello crafty friends, I've got another Christmas themed card for you today, this time using the Snowman Magic Bundle , I must say, I'm super happy with the finished card! I'm probably more a fan of non-traditional themed cards, which is why I just adore these purple and blue tones with snowflakes. I started by centring the snowflake die on my card front, then cut a piece of cardstock slightly smaller to blend Gorgeous Grape, Orchid Oasis and Starry, before stamping and silver heat embossing the sentiment. For some added impact I flicked some water over the base, then added Wink of Stella to the water marks. I was going to mount onto a Basic White card base, but decided last minute to go with Highland Heather - It really brought out the colours in the background, all that was left to do was add some Rhinestone Jewels and my project was complete! For more "Snowman Magic" inspiration continue through this list below: Blog Hop Index Thanks for visiting today, I ho...

Slimline Whimsical Woodland

Hi crafters, it's wet and stormy day in Adelaide today, so perfect to get into the craft studio and create! I decided on a on a simple design where the Whimsical Woodlands 3D embossing folder would do most of the work for the card. I centred the embossing folder as the slimline panel is longer than the folder, then I added raised sections to the ends - stamping the sentiment from the Framed & Festive stamp set prior to adhering. You can see how the detail from the embossing folder steps up and is the hero of the card - so simple and quick to create. I used Sweet Sorbet and Parakeet Party for my colour theme, adding InColor Twine and Red Rhinestones to finish. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and Yo...
