Beauty Abounds with Dandelion Wishes

The long weekend is almost over, I managed to get some crafty time this afternoon and decided to use not one, but 2 retiring sets after seeing a gorgeous card crated by Lyssa  when I was scrolling through Pinterest. I adore the "bokeh look" background that you can easily create with Beauty Abounds, I stamped off once using Seaside Spray and So Saffron, and then stamped again. Sahara Sand is the perfect accompaniment to the soft blue and yellow bokeh, I roughed up the edges and added some Pastel Pearls and I was done! Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month.  I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and YouTube channel running. Dandelion Wishes Stampin' Up! CC&S#393

Hello, happy Sunday - I hope your weekend has been an enjoyable one. I had lots of fun with the CAS Colours & Sketches challenge last week, so I'm playing along again, this week with a colour challenge. I dusted off my Dandelion Wishes stamp set and blended the 3 colours of the challenge through my stamping - it's especially easy to do with the aid of the Stamparatus . I started with the Dandelion stamp, applying Night of Navy with a sponge dauber to the centre and stem only and stamping, then next Misty Moonlight around the edge of the main flower, then lastly adding Crumb Cake to the "fly aways" and stamping. Then I removed that stamp from the Stamparatus and aligned the sentiment and repeated the colour blending process stamping each colour separately. Then I removed most of the Misty Moonlight ink from the dauber and lightly applied to the centre of the flower, and then added a little Crumb Cake to the edge into the fly aways. Thanks for visiting today, I h...

Meant to Be with Dandelion Wishes

It's the start of another ISO week, so let's kick it of with something bright and cheery - Happy Monday! I was planning to do a quick and simple card, but then I blended the 2018 - 2020 In Colors on my sentiment and I "had to" then do it on the hearts!!! These colours are retiring shortly, so be sure to s tock up on   all things 2018-2020 In Colors   while you can, re-inkers, paper, ribbons - if previous years are anything to go to stocks won't last long after the retiring list is announced. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Butterfly Beauty meets Dandelion Wishes

Welcome to the last Crazy Crafters Blog Hop for 2018 - where has the year gone!  Today we have the pleasure of casing the lovely Meg Loven from, you may be familiar with her blog LovenStamps Our task as always is to find inspiration from one of our special guests creations and CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit), I chose the below creation from Meg: Here's my creation: I drew inspiration from the detailed die cuts, embossing and circular sentiment. This is my first play with the Butterfly Beauty Thinlet Dies (available from 3rd January in the 2019 Occasions catalogue), and I'm a fan, they are gorgeous, and layer beautifully... and I do love layers! I trimmed down the die cuts and only used 3 of the butterflies instead of all 5, here's a quick clip of how I created this project Get comfortable and work your way through the list below to see all the amazing creations  inspired by Meg, I can't wait to see what the rest of the team...
