Twinkle Twinkle Animal Outing #WWYS 176

Welcome to another week of What Will You stamp? , this week we are showcasing the SUPER cute Animal Outing stamp set . If critters are you thing, this set is for you, and not only does it have matching framelits (purchase as a bundle and save 10% ), but also Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper , super cute all around! Being from Australia I was tempted to stamp with the Kangaroo and Koala, but I couldn't resist the Rhino. I started by watercolouring the Rhino with an Aqua Painter , using a little Balmy Blue for the sky, I continued the pastel theme for the bird too, using colours to coordinate with the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper to make a gorgeous baby card. I used various framelits to cut the sentiments and create elements of interest reflecting the stars and dots from the DSP, there is a list at the bottom of this post.  Head over and check out the projects with this set from the Design Team here , we would love you to part...

Quick & Simple For You

Yay Wednesday, that is the working week half done for me, woot! A really quick and simple Designer Series card for you today. I've taken a piece of the Brights DSP and and adhered to cardstock for extra thickness then wrapped ribbon around to create what looks like a present, then mounted on the card base using Dimensionals - I think the bow is what took me the longest! The sentiment is from Wood Words and has been cut using the Wood Crate framelits, and a little bling in the way of a Rhinestone Jewel. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more projects using Designer Series paper this month - why not take advantage of the Buy 3 Get 1 Free promotion then start cutting into your paper and create with me?  I would love to update you when I create a post! If you would like to receive an email from me when I do  Click Here . You can also  subscribe for my newsletter  for Stampin' Up news, update...

Super Boss Day Blog Hop to support HeartKids

Welcome today to a very special event raising awareness for Heart Kids. Like many things, it's not til you see the facts that you realise how many are impacted,  My husband and I know of a family who have Heart Kids, and have seen how this has impacted there lives.   In honour of Super Boss Day I've created a super hero themed card: Layers of fun here! firstly cutting the Layered Circles and Star for the shield, then to give that shield some "super power" I coated it with a layer of glue from the Fine Tipped Glue Pen - it worked a treat, not only giving a beautiful shine, but it also curved and looked even move like a shield! I shone a torch onto the card below so you can get a better idea of the shine on the shield from the glue - and learn from me.... leave plenty of time for the glue to dry... that's all I'm going to say on that! With the sentiment changed, this project would be great for super hero themed p...

Crazy Crafters Annual Catalogue Sneak Peek

Hello and welcome to the Crazy Crafters Annual Catalogue Sneak Peek, we have lots of our pre-order creations to show you! I have never really thought of myself as a flower person, but in the past year have come to realise that I really enjoy creating projects with the lovely floral designs that Stampin Up! as to offer, so today I'm showing off my mini cards using Daisy Delight I fell in love with the wood crate in the new catalogue, I just had to make one! Next task was to make some little cards for it. I usually look at a stamp set and think of what I want to create, not this time, I just started stamping! I knew I wanted to blend the 3 new shades of pink in the 2017-2019 In Colours, so I just played! After that I just continued with different stamps and sentiments, and before I knew it I had these 4 gorgeous mini cards.  My favourite is the single pink daisy (hahaha, what a surprise),  I used dazzling diamonds in the centre, I really like the pop it...

Wood Words Floral Border

Who loves playing with new toys! I do! I had a special delivery this week - my pre-order for the new 2017-2018 Catalogue, here is a quick preview of one of the stamps available from June 1st: I've been itching to craft all week, I finally had the opportunity to open the new Wood Words stamp set and try out two new In Colours - of course Powder Pink was first cab of the rank (no surprises there), and also Berry Burst - they co-ordinate beautifully together. I love the delicate flowers on this stamp, I have stamped multiple times to create a floral border, and then I double stamped using the Stamp-a-ma-jig, I just can't get enough of this tool lately! I just love the end result, a pale Powder Pink shadow effect with the stunning floral design popping in Berry Burst.  The gorgeous little tags are cut with from a die in the Wood Crate Framelits - these framelits are available as a bundle with the Wood Words stamp set - stay tuned for what else is ...
