Hello crafters, welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, our colors include Crumb Cake, Bermuda Bay, Old Olive & Bumblebee. I must admit, with the exception of when the 2020-22 In Colors were released, Bumblebee has not been used very much in my colour palette, I'm not really a "yellow kinda gal", and this is what I love about colour challenges, they make you look outside your normal range of go-to colours. I started by stamping the leave image from the soon to be retiring Free as a Bird stamp setnaround the edge of the card front, using 1st and 2nd generation stamping to give Crumb Cake a variation of shades. Then for the background I applied a light layer of Bermuda Bay with a Blending Brush, then overlaid with the Dot Mask from the Basic Pattern Decorative Mask set and applied another layer of Bermuda Bay, before moving the mask and applying Bumblebee to create a dappled sunlight look.
