Beautiful Butterflies - I'm here

Hello crafty friends, it's been a lovely cool weekend in comparison to past weeks, and I was lucky to have the house to myself this morning and felt the need to get inky. I was sorting through my desk, and saw my Beautiful Butterflies Bundle , no need to look further, this is one of my favourite sets from the mini catalogue. The suite has gorgeous Beautiful Bokeh DSP and coordinating Itty Bitty Bokeh Mix , so me and my need for bling decided I just had to incorporate the Bokeh Mix into my slimline design.  I used a Blending Brush with Blueberry Bushel, Gorgeous Grape and Berry Burst, then splattered the card base with water - this is one of my "go to" techniques lately and works perfectly when adding lots of bling as with today's card. I die cut the butterflies from Thick Basic White cardstock and adhered, the added the Bokeh Mix for that touch of bling that I adore. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Hello with Beautiful Butterflies

Hello, crafty friends, can you believe that January is almost past us by? Where does time go? Inspiration for my card today was from a much cooler day during my 8-4 working week where I realised I was listening to the birds outside my study window and glance out and saw a beautiful butterfly in the garden. I've used the Beautiful Butterflies bundle, which includes stamp set, dies and 3D embossing folder. You can use the embossing folder as a background and selected die cuts also fit into the images in the folder - like my large colourful butterfly, I love these multi purpose folders, so many options to make gorgeous cards! I've used both embossed (background) and de-bossed (feature butterfly in this design..... it may have been a slight oversight/accident, but never the less I'm more than happy with the result. Before cutting the feature I used blending brushes to apply Crumb Cake, Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight, and then flick water over the colouring, then I die cut a...
