It's a Beautiful Day with Butterfly Beauty

It's been such a lovely weekend weather wise I haven't been in the craft room much - making the most of the first weekend in weeks to being able to go outside and not burn to a crisp in a matter of minutes.... so in honor of that I have created this card: I wish things were this green, when out and about in the car yesterday most of the grass has suffered dreadfully with our recent heat waves, and has died off - here's hoping that the little rain we had early on Saturday perks it up and it starts growing green again. After cutting the butterflies from the respective large butterfly dies, for something a little different I offset the 2 die cuts rather than layering directly on top of each other, it gives a really nice effect. And the sentiment from Love what you do was perfect..... It's a beautiful day, and I've been enjoying :) Stamp sets & Framelits: Love What You Do , Butterfly Beauty Thinlets , Stitched Shapes , Layering Oval...

Birthday Delivery | #WWYS132

Welcome back to another week with What Will You Stamp? This week the set we are showcasing another adorably cute set  called Birthday Delivery I decided to create a card using the little girl image, it reminded of when I was a child and and would give a bunch of flowers to my mum or grandma. I water coloured her dress with an Aqua Painter (one of my favourite tools), and used the Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder - these new embossing folders give a lovely 3D effect. I would be without the Layering Ovals Framelits , plain and scalloped die cuts - great for layering and how well does the Vintage Crochet Trim look with this image, it's just perfect! This stamp set is part of an AMAZING Birthday Memories product suite and not only do the thinlets cut the stamped images, but also some of the image on the Designer Series Paper - WOW, takes things to a whole new level, so versatile! The suite brings back childhood memor...

Banners for You | #WWYS122

Welcome to this weeks challenge at What Will You Stamp? This week the set we are showcasing Banners for You (page 32 of the Annual Catalogue) Using banners is a great way to make your sentiment pop on your card, and as the Banners for You is photopolymer it is easy to line up your sentiment inside a banner, and set also co-ordinates with the Bunch of Banner framelit dies, so these amazing banners can be easily cut and added to your projects. Here is what I have created this week: There are heaps of sentiments to choose from this set, and each co-ordinates with one of the 4 banners, you can also mix and match depending on your creation. I cut a second banner in Melon Mambo and layered under the stamped banner, and added a twine bow (I can't get enough of these lately) I used the Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to create my background in Lemon Lime Twist (my daughters favourite colour).  This TIEF gives amazing depth to the embo...
