Sale-A-Bration & Occasions Catalogue | Kylie's International Blog Highlight

Hello, today you are in for a treat, sit back and enjoy all the projects we have created using products from the 2018 Occaions and Sale-A-Bration catalogues with Kylie Bertucci's International blog highlight.  I've made my card using the Friendship's Sweetest Thoughts Stamp set, as soon as I saw this set it went on my wish list! I've also used the gorgeous Shimmery White Embossing paste to create my brick background, it is just stunning, a must have if you are partial to a little "bling".  I mask the area where I would stamp my image by die cutting an oval, then laid on the decorative mask and went to work spreading the Shimmery Embossing paste, when it had dried I re-positioned the mask and gently sponged crumb cake onto the bricks, it really made them pop and looks like an arch way! I stamped my image and coloured using watercolour pencils with a blender pen , then added a little Wink of Stella to tie into the shimmery ...

Magical Day with Crazy Crafters Special Guest Su Mohr

Hello and welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with special guest Su Mohr. You may be familiar with her blog Aromas and Art - what a wonderful combination!  As special guest we have the task of CASEing (Copy and Selectively Edit) one of Su's designs, I was all prepared and then I saw this wonderful creation and I changed my plans! The theme for Su's card was "All that Sparkes and Shines",... you had me at Sparkles! I immediately knew that the Magical Days stamp set form page 37 of the 2018 Occasions Catalogue would be broken out of it's packaging, along with lots of bling. I saw shimmering clouds and a glittering Unicorn on a Magical Day, and decided to make a shaker card - it's been ages since I made one of these, they are so much fun. I used the new Shimmery White Embossing paste (pg 13 Occasions catalogue) for my clouds, they turned out beautifully and embellished with Silver Baker's Twine (also pg 13). Stampin Blends were perfec...

Stampin' Dreams...... now for Something Different - Christmas Tree Ornaments!

Welcome to the monthly Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. This month's theme is "something Different". You are currently visiting Sue Vine from Adelaide, Australia. I stepped outside the square of card making today and created some fun Tree Ornaments. These were super fun to make - the Season Chums images were the perfect size for the small baubles I found in my local Spotlight store. Once stamped I used the die cuts, then trimmed off the little tag section, then it was fun time - colouring! I used Fast Fuse to hold the tag together, then onto the next step! The real fun started, mixing Embossing Paste with Dazzling Diamonds to create the snow, then carefully putting a layer into the bottom of the bauble, taking care to keep the application the same on each side, then some extra glitter into one side of the bauble to shake around after it is joined - you can't have to much glitter can you, lol! I carefully laid the bottom of the die cut int...

Mixed Drinks | #WWYS130

Welcome to this weeks challenge at What Will You Stamp? This week the set we are showcasing the Mixed Drinks stamp set . Being Australian, and having worked for one of Australia's brewing companies some years ago, it would be remiss of me if I didn't create a card showcasing "Beer" One of the things that my hubby liked when I worked for the brewer was that I would say can you get some stuff out the back of the car please..... and he would see an ice cold carton that I had collected for him! Masculine cards are not something that comes naturally for me, but this set is perfect and my card came together quickly.  Repeat stamping a sentiment is a fantastic way to create a background, combining the speech bubble and cheers worked a treat.  The frames are made using the Stitched Shapes & Layering Squares Framelits - they coordinate perfectly. Can you see to the top of the glass.... I used embossing paste to create the "head" on the be...
