Detailed Floral Framelits pop up box

I love fun folds and 3D projects, so when I have seen the wonderful variety of projects including candle holders, gift boxes and  Jauna Ambida 's wedding card in a box  made with the Detailed Floral Thinlets Dies  I knew I wanted to give them a try,  then I had the perfect opportunity - a special request for a 60th Birthday card. You do need to make sure that you place your dies in the correct position, but it's not too tricky to do, and as you can see the end result is just stunning. The  Floral Phrases  stamp set has the perfect stamp for adding detail to the bottom of you box too. I fussy cut a flower to place in the middle of my card and the "Happy" die cut is from the Hello You Thinlits Dies  and popped up using a strip of window sheet.    Number of Years  is just fantastic for creating Numbers for any special occasion - this card could be used for a birthday or anniversary.    Thanks for visi...

Floral Phrases Pocket Card

Welcome back, I've been playing with Detailed Floral Thinlets and made a Pocket card, I've seen a few of these on Pinterest and thought I would give one a go: The Details Floral Thinlets give a beautiful focal point for this project, and also make it easy - I just cut a strip of card 10.5 cm wide and used the larger of the 2 dies in my Big Shot, you can't get much easier than that! The I scored and folded the bottom of the card to create the pocket, I popped in a layer of vellum so that the card wouldn't get caught on the die cut image and you do need to be mindful when  adhering the sides that you leave sufficient room for your card to slide in and out smoothly. The sentiment from Floral Phrases is perfect for a Wedding or Anniversary, I deliberately kept the card simple with just the sentiment and bow so that things didn't become too busy as I just adore the die cut image. The Floral Phrases stamp set is available with the Detail...

Thanks to you..... Detailed Floral Thinlets

I am just loving how effective the new Detailed Floral Thinlet dies look! How amazing is this intricate design, and it was such a simple card to make: use the thinlets,  glue the die cuts to your card and  stamp a sentiment  I think I took longer to decide that I wanted to use Rich Razzleberry cardstock for the design! The Floral Phrases  stamp set has a lovely variety of sentiments, today I went with the Thank You sentiment - the long phrase appealed to me and I adore how it finished off the card.   These Detailed Floral Thinlets Dies  are amazing, they give such a detailed effect for very little effort, just run them through your Big Shot and you are done.  There are 3 in the pack, 2 for the intricate floral design and an edgelit that can be used with both of the floral framelits - I have used all 3 for my card today, by using the edgelit I was able to cut the 2 panels for the top and bottom of the card. ...
