Slimline Whimsical Woodland

Hi crafters, it's wet and stormy day in Adelaide today, so perfect to get into the craft studio and create! I decided on a on a simple design where the Whimsical Woodlands 3D embossing folder would do most of the work for the card. I centred the embossing folder as the slimline panel is longer than the folder, then I added raised sections to the ends - stamping the sentiment from the Framed & Festive stamp set prior to adhering. You can see how the detail from the embossing folder steps up and is the hero of the card - so simple and quick to create. I used Sweet Sorbet and Parakeet Party for my colour theme, adding InColor Twine and Red Rhinestones to finish. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and Yo...

Whimsical Woodland Christmas Scottie Stampin' Dreams

Hello stampers, we have " Christmas in July" as our theme for the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop this month, lots to see from the new Mini Catalogue, so lets get started! The Whimsical Woodland 3D embossing folder to creates a cute background on Parakeet Party, I decided to use the reverse side or debossed image for something a little different. The focal point of the card is from the Christmas Scottie Bundle , a super cute stamp set and coordinating punch, adding Red Rhinestone Jewels for the doggy collar. I matched a circle from Stylish Shapes with a scalloped circle from Layering Circles , and added the scalloped edge from  the Penned Flowers dies  finishing with some Sweet Sorbet In Colour Twine to match the sentiment. For more Christmas in July inspiration to get you started for the holiday season continue through the list of demonstrators below: Blog Hop Index Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.
