September Harvest Moon

I'm super excited to be joining a blog hop hosted by Rick Adkins - I'm a long time admirer of his creations, so when I had the opportunity to become part of this group I jumped at it, thanks so much Rick.

Our theme this month is Harvest Moon, ohhhh I was excited by the theme and started googling to make sure I was on the right track - here's what I learnt.....The harvest moon is the name given to the Full Moon that takes place closest to the autumn equinox, and there is also perennial called Harvest Moon.

I've used the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle to create my project for the hop today, stamping and colouring the flowers with Blends, and die cuts for the bottom of the card.

For the card base, I lightly sponged some Sahara Sand and Smoky Slate, then cut a circle on a postit note and mask the moon, then continued to add more sponging, applying Crumb Cake and Early Espresso towards the bottom of the card.
