Hello crafty friends, you are in for a treat today with the Stampers Showcase highlighting products from the upcoming Jan-June Mini Catalogue. As a Demonstrator we are able to pre-order items so we can play before the official catalogue launch on 4th January 2022.
One of the items in the catalogue that I was excited to try is the Butterflies & Flowers Layering Decorative Masks, whilst we currently have masks, these new ones are designed to be layered on top of each other.
I did do some experimentation before starting a card, I found it helps if you have scraps of paper to "mask" other areas on the of the layering masks so that you don't accidently put colour where you don't want it.
I used Blending Brushes to apply ink: Flirty Flamingo and Magenta Madness for the flowers, Just Jade for the leaves and Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay and Fresh Freesia for the Butterfly.
The sentiment is from the Friendly Hello stamp set - one of the FREE products available during Sale-a-bration (also starting on Jan 4th 2022). I'm totally loving these masks, I think they are a must have, they take stencilling to the next level! The possibilities are endless and will vary depending on your layering and colour choices.
